1. How do I access the documentation files on the distribution CD?

Answer: When you insert the distribution CD in your computer, the Autorun
feature will kick in and start the installation process.

• Cancel the installation by 
  • clicking Exit Setup and then 
  • Yes to the Are you sure? question and
  • Ok to the message about needing to start the installation later
• You can now access the files on the disk using Windows Explorer
• Or - go to the Windows My Computer icon
  • Right click on the CD drive.  The disk label is QSLSORT
  • Select Open from the menu to access the files
   

2. Why does the program show a zero balance for a call when I know they have funds?

Answer:  This is also listed in the Known Problems section - 
The program shows the wrong cash balance for an account (for a call).  Can show zero balance when they know that the account has funds.
Resolution: Close other applications when installing the program and performing the import from the old program.  This error was found when the sorter was also running email.

3. When I install a revision to the program, it asks me if I want to keep certain files.  How do I answer?

Answer:  This is a dumb installer, it really should be able to figure out you don’t want to replace some of those files.

You want to answer No for any of these:

Bureau_fe.mdb
Bureau_empty.mdb
Artechlookup.dll
Qrz32.dll
Hamcal32.dll

And Yes for:

Dao2535.tlb
Comdlg32.ocx
Scrrun.dll
Or any other windows or system file it may want to replace.

4. When I do a cut and Paste of an address from QRZ it no longer pastes correctly.

Answer:  During the Fall of 2008 QRZ.COM changed their web site.  Now there are extra linefeeds between the "cut and paste" address lines.  To fix this, after you Paste the address into the Paste box, delete the extra line feeds before proceeding.  This is fixed in version 1.05.

5. Will the program run under Windows 7?
